Mount Guadalupe Texas

Where the west begins. The large rock outcropping is El Capitan, mount Guadalupe is the ridge just behind the Spanish Dagger in this photo. The highest point in Texas at 8,749 feet.

RobZabrokyPhotography: I live in the western region of the Edwards Plateau, deep in the Texas Hill Country. I'm an avid outdoorsman spending a large portion of my time "out there" roaming the wide open spaces. Much of my photography is simply an extension of a very active outdoor lifestyle. The challenges posed with closing the distance, pursuing wildlife photography, is an absolute hoot for me! The experience out there alone is everything to me. If I capture pixels along the way , it's icing on the cake.
