- I live in the western region of the Edwards Plateau, deep in the Texas Hill Country. I'm an avid outdoorsman spending a large portion of my time "out there" roaming the wide open spaces. Much of my photography is simply an extension of a very active outdoor lifestyle. The challenges posed with closing the distance, pursuing wildlife photography, is an absolute hoot for me! The experience out there alone is everything to me. If I capture pixels along the way , it's icing on the cake.

ReplyDeleteThank you Dominic! I managed to catch this buck working a doe's scent trail during the whitetail rut. She was feeding roughly 50 yards downwind from him when he cut her scent line...he immediately raised his head and opened both nostrils up for a identification scent. Amazing animals and their mode of communnication is very subtle but dramatic when they do their thing.
