Strutting Rio

The wild turkey spring mating season continues! I think the Rio Grande turkey is the most colorful bird of North America's 4 species. They certainly are the largest turkeys...this old boy is probably around 25+ pounds.

White-winged dove.....deep in South Texas the white-wing fly by the thousands during that last hour of sunlight. Native to the American Southwest and Northern Mexico.
