- I live in the western region of the Edwards Plateau, deep in the Texas Hill Country. I'm an avid outdoorsman spending a large portion of my time "out there" roaming the wide open spaces. Much of my photography is simply an extension of a very active outdoor lifestyle. The challenges posed with closing the distance, pursuing wildlife photography, is an absolute hoot for me! The experience out there alone is everything to me. If I capture pixels along the way , it's icing on the cake.

When everything comes together on a spring turkey hunt, nothing beats it! I love the sound the tail feathers make when a gobbler suddenly "pops" them into strut. And when you're close enough to hear feathers shake, you know you're experiencing sights and sounds that most people will never see or hear. Great shot!
